On December 8, 2025, Attorney Peter Sacopulos participated in a panel presentation at the 2025 Global Symposium on Racing that was held at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, Arizona. Mr. Sacopulos presented together with Richard Erhard, principal and founder of Richard Erhard & Associates, LLC, and Attorney Sam Reinhardt, Assistant General Counsel of the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority. Mr. Sacopulos and his colleagues presented a panel discussion entitled “From Legal Disputes to Consensus: Expanding the Continuum of Options in Dispute Resolution.” Panel discussions included the efficacy of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and specifically, mediation, as well as the use of Early Dispute Resolution (EDR) in resolving disputes in the horseracing industry ranging from contractual agreements to regulatory compliance issues. Mr. Sacopulos will serve as moderator of a panel next month in connection with the National Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association’s annual meeting that will be held in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
